Mandala’s ingenious round yoga mat is a must-have for those who practice multiple forms of exercise. While it is perfectly suited for yoga, this beautifully-crafted mat provides a wide, six-foot circular surface area that is just as accommodating for exercises that require more frequent movements, like Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Pilates. This mat allows you to concentrate on the gentle flow of your movements rather than having to constantly reposition yourself like you would on a traditional rectangular yoga mat. Because of this, your sessions will be more effective and efficient.
Mandala’s round yoga mat is a favorite among professional yoga instructors because it allows them to be located in the center of the classroom. With 360° of movement available, instructors can offer a theater-in-the-round-type of exercise class where they can easily provide instruction to each of their students without ever having to leave their practice mat.
Plus, with its high-tack surface, thick ¼” cushioning and embossed center design, this high-quality, hand-cut yoga mat will deliver many years of reliable use, so it not only provides an exceptional surface for a variety of exercise practices, but it’s a tremendous value as well.

As a serious yoga student and yoga teacher, I am absolutely loving my new round mat. It affords me the comfort of positioning myself in any pose. Wonderful to practice Partner Yoga on as well. The alignment of the stamping is a great guide to space the distance between your feet keeping you centered in certain poses like warrior two and triangle. The mat does take up some room so make sure you pick a place that has ample space. Buy a round mat and explore your possibilities.

The shape and size of this mat makes it absolutely awesome. It's probably not practical to carry to a class, but perfect for home practice or an instructor who needs to constantly reposition themselves to show a pose. Break free of practicing in box.
